The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is organizing a contest where you could win $250!
To participate, you will need to create a cartoon based on a pamphlet on Helping Medicine Taste Better.
The intent is to provide the most information, using minimal wording. It’s your chance to be creative!
All the details and the pamphlet are attached to this email. You have until February 20th to indicate your intention to participate by email. Submissions need to be sent to CHEO by April 1st, 2010.

The Ontario Branch, CSHP 61st Annual General Meeting, Educational Sessions and Awards Evening is close!! Have your registered yet?

Make sure to take advantage of the extended deadline for the Early Bird Registration and send in your registration form by Friday, October 23rd. A copy of the AGM program brochure and registration form is attached for your convenience. Brief event details are below.

The early registration cost for students is only $60+tax for Full registration or $30+tax each for Education Program only or Awards Night Dinner only.

This is not all. Each year, Ontario Branch CSHP offers some reimbursement of registration fees from the Jim Mann Student Fund to U of T students who attend the Ontario Branch AGM/Education Sessions. The fund is in the amount of $250 and available only to those students who are CSHP members. The amount of subsidy received depends on the number of students that register because the fund is shared equally amongst those students.

Attached is an expense claim form that must be completed after the AGM/Educational Sessions has taken place. You need to return the completed form along with a copy of your AGM registration payment receipt to Susan Korporal by email at skorporal {a*t} cshp {d*o*t} ca or by fax at 613-736-5660. A cheque will then be issued and mailed to you.

In addition to the Jim Mann Student Fund, UPS will be offering a subsidy to several students that attend the Ontario Branch AGM/Educational Sessions. For this fund, there will be a raffle held after the event and several students will be chosen to receive a partial reimbursement of their fees. To be entered into the draw, you need to submit a copy of your original receipt of registration to me either in person or by email at natalia.persad {a*t} utoronto {d*o*t} ca. The deadline to submit your receipt to me is Monday, November 16th by midnight.
